The BSA Black Rally Power took place on Oct 24, 2006 at the Pheasant Theatre in the Wharton Center and was a great success with a great turn out. Rich, Veda, Sandra,  and Jeanette attended the events. They also had author Omar Tyree and a member of the NAACP Detroit Chapter speak as well. The BSA acknowledged  and thanked the MSUBA at the event as well and we had special seating for the event,

Since Prop 2 was passed on Nov 7., the student have been staging multiple rallies and campaigns to ask the university and the Lou Simon to take a stand on the issue as the U of M President did with the law suit and initiative to combat the proposal.
